ASME@UTSA Game Day Football Tailgating

For game 4 and possibly also for 6, we'll be adjusting our time table to based on updated kick-off time.
Please look out for our email communication or check back on our website for updates.


UPDATE: Game #4 UTSA vs.South Alabama, kickoff is 4:30 Please use the following time table:
1. Packing (Time: TBD)
2. Setup (Time: 11:00 to 12:00)
3. Early Morning (Time: 11:30 to 1:30)
4. Late Morning (Time: 1:30 to 3:30)
5. Clean up (Time: 3:00 to 4:00)
6. Unpacking (Time: After game)

First UTSA Football season is well on its way. In order to facilitate our tailgating better, we ask you to complete the following online forn by 3PM Fri before the game. if you would like to tailgate with ASME/SAE and other engineering organization members before the game.

On this Saturday, we planning meeting on campus at 6:30am to pack up and leave the campus and complete the set up at the Alamodome by 8am.There will be carpooling option available for our members. You can also choose to use the VIA shuttle that departs infront of the campus rec center.

Frequently Asked Questions 

What is the tailgating location?
We'll be located in the parking lot right next to the Alamodome. Please refer to the satellite map below to find our relative location. We'll be at tailgating spot 15, which is centrally located.

What about alcoholic beverages?
We are not allowed to distribute any alcoholic beverages at this event however you are welcome to bring your own reasonable amount of alcoholic beverages to this event if you are 21 or older. Glass bottles and containers are not allowed, however you can pour your drink in a plastic cup. No group or individual is permitted to participate in "drinking games" per Student Activities' Risk Management policies.

Do I need a paper ticket?
To our knowledge, students can swipe their id card to enter the Alamodome. Since there maybe a delay for this or difficulties with last minute ticket printing, we recommend that you print the ticket from home well in advance.
