ASME is looking for volunteers at Habitat for Humanity this coming
Saturday November 3rd. Habitat for Humanity works with low-income
families who would not otherwise be able to
afford a house. they partner with families in need and help them build
affordable houses for themselves and their families at no interest and
no profit. They are not a charity or a “hand out” program, but rather
they
help families help themselves. To date, 737 homes have been built in
partnership with families in need. By the end of 2012, they will have
built 795 Habitat homes in San Antonio. This is a great opportunity to help other people and put ASME at UTSA name out there. If you are interested in helping us out please contact: Community Service Coordinator Richard Skinner hzk692@my.utsa.edu Thanks! |
